Cancellations or Changes
A non-refundable booking fee of a minimum of £50.00 is required to secure the booking. A booking is not secure until the booking fee has been received and may result in the date becoming unavailable.
If the total order is significantly reduced after the non-refundable booking fee is paid (total order value reduced by 30% or more) we reserve the right to: (a) not continue with the booking on the basis that we may have turned other potential work down for the same date, and in such circumstances, the booking fee is not refundable (b) insist on a minimum order value of at least 70% of the original order value at estimate, or (c) to levy an additional consultation fee of £50, in such circumstances.
Once the non refundable booking fee has been paid if the wedding is cancelled or if you choose to no longer use our services the booking fee will not be refunded. If he date of the wedding changes we will try to still accommodate your booking for the change of date, if we are unable to do this the non refundable booking fee will not be refunded to you.
Changes to the order after the full balance has been settled will be assessed on a case by case basis; we will do everything possible to try and accommodate an addition to your order however this may not be possible at such late notice. If the order is reduced or cancelled after the full balance is paid, then no refund can be given as a) we have to order your wedding flowers from our suppliers and will have to pay their bill at this time and b) a significant amount of work will have already been undertaken during the consultation, planning and ordering stages of your wedding flowers.
Once you have booked your wedding flowers with Thoughts of You and paid the non-refundable booking fee, if you decide to cancel your wedding flowers we will not be able to refund the fee paid as this is used to secure your wedding date, once you have booked with us we may turn other wedding work down for the date of your wedding. If you cancel the order after you have paid your balance (one month prior to your wedding) we will not be able to refund your balance as we will have placed the order your wedding flowers from our suppliers and therefore have to pay for the flowers when we place your order.
Delivery charges are calculated on an individual basis, depending on the number of delivery address, the distance and time involved in delivering and set up of flowers. Delivery charges will be included in your wedding flower quote. We will deliver your flowers at the time and destination, as arranged, so you can relax and enjoy your special day. If any problems or delays occur we will contact you to inform you. Please ensure any contact numbers for you and or your venue are correct and updated if there are any changes.
The forms of payment we accept for your wedding flowers are cash, card payment or BACS. As mentioned the full balance must be paid one month before the wedding date.
Pictures shown within our website, catalogues and magazines are for guideline use only, flower content may vary due to seasonal availability and natural variance. Every effort will be made to adhere to the pictured design, but we may need to use our own discretion to substitute flower content if necessary for flowers of similar type, colour and cost (any substitutions will be discussed prior to use). If specific flower varieties have not been requested, then the customer will not always be informed of such substitutions.
Hiring of items
A non refundable rent will be required when hiring any of our hire range, the non refundable rent will depend on item you are hiring, we will let you know how much each item will cost in your wedding flower quote. Items can be collected from your venue or returned to us after your wedding day. This will be agreed upon prior to the wedding day. Items which are hired are to be return in an undamaged state. If any damage occurs the damaged items will be charged at full retail cost. Items must be returned by the date agreed when finalising the wedding order.
