Faye and Chris married at St Mary’s Church in Monkseaton followed by their reception at The Mansion House in Newcastle. They both wanted a relaxed country feel for their flowers using a pink and white colour palette. After collecting a lot of various jam jars Faye and Chris asked us to fill them with mixed flowers to decorate the Church and The Mansion House. Faye and Chris trusted us completely to create their wedding flowers using any flowers we felt would work best for their theme. We chose a mix of flowers including Roses, Gypsophila, Delphinium, Freesia and Lisianthus.
‘Amy and Allison have been absolutely fantastic!! They are so enthusiastic and clearly really enjoy the work they do. We really enjoyed our meetings with them; they were fun, approachable and was so interested in all of the little details of our wedding day. They made us feel really relaxed and at ease. Their customer service is second to none!
The floral arrangements which they created for our wedding day absolutely took my breath away! The colours were stunning and they also included cream roses with a ‘raspberry ripple’ affect through them. The bouquets, hair arrangements, corsages and button holes were beautiful. We didn’t have a clear idea about which flowers to use, but Amy and Allison had really listened to our ‘vision’. So many people commented on the flowers during the day (and lots of our family took the flower-filled jam jars home and said that they lasted for a long time)
Amy was really accommodating with our ideas; we had decorated countless jam jars which she filled to perfection, both at the church and venue. Also, she tied a blue ribbon (which I’d brought to her and was my something blue) to my bouquet.
We would really recommend ‘Thoughts of You’ to any couples who are looking for wedding day flowers.’
